This is a Krauss & Mohr & Co engine from early 1900. It has no logotypes, but reminds a lot of other Krauss, Mohr engines. It's a rather big (31cm high) oscillating machine.

The engine was repainted as I got it (see pictures before restoration), and the fire house is not the original one. I therefor decided to restore it in what I believe is a more original look. As I removed the gold paint from the flywheel, I could find traces of the original dark green color underneath. The flywheel is repainted in its original color using a waterbased paint covered with shellac. The new baseplate is made out of oak, painted with antique oak stain and covered with shellac. The fire house is repainted with a heat resistent black color.
